age of time

i wonder if time has a part to play in how we treat people.
yes it obviously does.
but how much?

take this as a example.
like if u were to meet someone for the first time.
u wont necessary want to loan them a hundred bucks.
how long do we have to know someone before we can part with that amount of money?

and of course im not really talking about money.
more of trust.
ur entities.
exchange of hidden personalities.

and this possibly brings up a test of relationship.
by asking the person who you are not certain where u stand with.
"can i borrow a hundred bucks?"
"what for?"
"just cause."
"sure."
and u know that you stand firmly in their grounds.
not outside by the lamp post waiting for free tickets to get in.
