when silence speaks

you know how sometimes silence means something.
it speaks.
a spoken truth without words.

a stare.
nothing more than a glance or flicker u think.
but its more.

look inside those gleaming eyes.
and you can decipher more than words will ever tell.

or when you say the 3 words
"i love you"
and theres a silence.

the silence.
expecting an "i love you too".
the truth from the absence of words.
can really pierce one's inner soul.

or when the absence of someone.
no shadow.
no figure.
no contact.
no communication what so ever.
that says something.

how much they meant to you.
how much u mean to them.
downhill silence.
eventually, it will just shrink.
and vanish.
