a week ago.
i was a white girl
with freckles.
now im a stripey girl.
with more freckles.
for after a day on the beach.
it appears that someone placed a zebra template on me
and painted over it with caramel.
either that
OR
i stupidly forgot to apply sunscreen onto the front side of my body
to protect my reputation,
i shall assume and insist that the former is more likely the cause of my new body print.
