i always thought that romantic novels were the female version of playboy magazines.
just cause our imagination is much more fulfilling than looking at images of men who are just not our "type".

when you read a novel,
the guy can be whoever you want him to be.

be it traditional tall dark and handsome.
or
the skinny emo sort.

the bad jerk
or the
honest goody too shoos.

but im sure,
we all know that such fantasies dont exist.
despite how realistic we try to make them seem.

its just a quiet escape from our daily lives.
like how men watch football.
or
plain porn.

my point is..
there is a reason why romantic novels are mainly targeted for women.
and why men have porn.
