fleur de sel caramel macarons.
i always knew i had a thing for things sweet and salty.
my confirmation point was when i started eating nutella cream cheese sandwiches for lunch. (and yes, i had one today)
somehow the combination just works! (if u dont believe me, try it!)
so yes. making salted caramel macarons came naturally.
but i have a slight hunch that i might have been too enthusiastic about the salt part.
pushing the line from a sweet macaron to a savory one.
hm.... we'll see.
