i love love lemon curd.

i added lime to make this macaron extra zesty.
and what i got was...
lemon lime macarons!
oh they weirdly taste of the drink Lift.
i added a colour swirl onto the shells by adding 2 different coloured batters into my piping bag alternately.
and topped them off with lime zest shavings to add some zing.

this is the face i make when i think of lemons.
